Hipposdesign Studio was founded by Radim Babak and Ondrej Tobola in 2003. It focuses on industrial and furniture design, exhibitions and trade fair presentation design, interior design and architecture. In addition to the construction design and interior design, both designers worked at a prestigious contract - interior design of the National Technical Library in Prague, which was awarded by Grand Prix 2010 - National Prize for Architecture. They prepared several exhibitions for mminterier (Art&Interior in 2004 and 2005, Designblok 2007), participated in the reconstruction of mminterier headquarters in Luhacovice and collaborated on the development of successful models such as SSS! sofa, which was included among the Hundred Icons of Czech Design. Among others, they also won the 1st place in the Czech Grand Design 2009 competition.

Jan Čtvrtník

A graduate of Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. He has gained extensive experience in international internships in France, Finland, Sweden, and in the USA, after studies he worked as a designer at IKEA (since 2005) and Electrolux (since 2008), currently works for Liebherr. He feels the design in a broad range of possibilities, in addition to sophisticated projects for industry, he also designs items for small series, for example jewelry - he initiated the Tactoo project in 2003. He cooperates with Czech producers Moser, Plastia, and with mminterier since 2004. For his Koxy design he won the Students´ Design National Award 2005 and also the Excellent Design 2006 award. His inventiveness, creativity and versatility is proved by further awards: Designer of the Year 2008, Grand Designer of the Year, or prestigious Red Dot Design Award.

René Šulc / Daria Podboj

MgA. Daria Podboj Havrda, a graduate of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague started her professional career of architect at Ranny Architects. In 2006 she founded NDR Studio with Rene Sulc and worked together on furniture design for mminterier, lighting and interior contracts. Since 2008 she works in her own studio focused on product and interior design of commercial and private interiors, lighting, furniture and accessories. She collaborates with companies such as Rendl Lamps, Lucis, Belda, and Vohoz. As a co-founder of Fluo Studio she contributes to the concept of furniture innovation by upholstery fabrics with unusual decorations. She has participated in numerous exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad. Rene Sulc, a graduate of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague sees design as a combination of function, aesthetics, ideal proportions, material and economic efficiency, with an emphasis on innovative technical and functional solutions. In 2006 he founded NDR Studio with Darja Podboj, and Lucis Studio focused on lighting, furniture and industrial design. Due to his furniture designs for mminterier (Chaise longue, Vazka, Swing armchair) and others he won the Czech Grand Design award, Grand Prix Mobitex and Furniture of the Year award. Sophisticated concepts, elegant shape and good functional properties are characteristic for his medical equipment design for Erilens. Since 2012, Rene Sulc is the head of the Department of Design at the Institute of Industrial Design at CTU in Prague.

Anar Davaasambuu

Designer of the Mongolian nationality, who studied in the Czech Republic, graduated at the Secondary school of Applied Arts and Design in Uherske Hradiste, and gained his master's degree at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. During his internship he also focused on the study of the history of architecture and art. Valuable experience gained during the stay abroad and work with companies Mmcité or Skoda Auto. In his Anadav design Ltd. studio he focuses on product design, interior and exterior projects. In the field of industrial design he designed for example a helicopter or paragliding paramotors. For mminterier designed the original Nomad rocking bar chair.

Martin Frank

After graduation at the Faculty of Architecture in Brno University of Technology, he worked for Potravinoprojekt Ostrava, Sprojekt Zlin, or Formica Zlin. His independent business activities began in 2001. In 2003 he founded the Espri Interier Ltd studio focused on the furniture and homewares. He deals with the construction design, interior design, furniture and homewares design for private customers as well as companies. His architectural projects won several awards, for the design of Flly sofa for mminterier he gained the Good Design Award in 2002.

Radim Babák hipposdesign

A graduate of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague together with Ondrej Tobola founded the Hipposdesign Studio in 2003. He focuses on industrial and furniture design, exhibitions and trade fair presentation design, interior design and architecture. In addition to the construction design and interior design, worked at a prestigious contract - interior design of the National Technical Library in Prague, which was awarded by Grand Prix 2010 - National Prize for Architecture. Since 2011 he is also a lecturer at Faculty of Architecture of the Academy of Applied Arts, Architecture and design in Prague.

Boris Klimek

A graduate of Zlín Design Studio of the the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. He gained valuable experience during internships at Sheffield Hallam University in England, the Academy of Fine Arts and design in Bratislava and VSUP in Prague. Currently based in Prague and he focuses on product and interior design. In his work he looks for conceptual overlaps, games and stories. He tries to make his design not only functional, but also poetic, playful and able to stimulate the human imagination and emotions. For mminterier he designed the Element sofa, which was nominated for the Furniture of the Year 2013 award, and the Bunker collection, the winner product of the Furniture of the Year 2014, and ADC Czech Creative Award 2015.

Jerry Koza

A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at Czech Technical University in Prague and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague focuses on the architectural projects, interior design, furniture and homewares design. From the beginning in the De.fakto company and Symbio design studio Ltd., which was founded in 2005, he came to the Atelier SAD Ltd. company. In addition to presentations at major design exhibitions and numerous awards, he can be proud of the Ladislav Sutnar Prize for Young Artists 2003. His design of Kotrmelec chair was included in 100 Icons of Czech Design project. Together with his wife, Anna Kozova, designed the toy collection for Fatra, which gained the Czech Grand Design Award. For mminterier he designed the original shell armchair, called No4s.

Boris Klimek / Lenka Damová

Lenka Damova, a graduate of Zlín Design Studio of the the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, now works as a freelance designer who focuses primarily on interior and product design. Recently she cooperates more intensively with Boris Klimek, with whom she also worked on a proposal of mminterier exhibition booth at the IMM Cologne fair /2014/. Together they also created the collection of sofas, called Package /2015/. Other cooperation of these two designers includes changes of interiors for a magazine about housing. Lenka Damova is interested in overlap of design into free art, which is primarily reflected in her free product creation, presented at exhibitions both home and abroad. Since 2011 she is a member of Made by the Woods creative group and she exhibited her works at eg. Designblok, Prague /2013/, in Vienna /2013/ or Budapest /2014/.

David Vodrážka / mm interier

David Vodrazka, a graduate of Industrial Design and postgraduate of Visual Communication at Brno University of Technology works as a jewellery designer in the Gold Atelier Ltd. Since 2004 he is in contact with mminterier, when he took part in the Journey Through Time - a Journey Into the Future competition with his design of No.2 chair. The No.3 armchair follows and develops the older idea; its shell is equipped with removable cover and can be used indoor and outdoor. Links to the post-war period shapes, the modern expression, and application of the latest technologies and materials brought No.3 model the Furniture of the Year 2013 nomination.

Jíří Pelcl

Professor Architect Jiří Pelcl is an important figure in the field of design in the Czech Republic and abroad. He teaches at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where he was the chancellor in 2002–2005. Besides practical activities he deals with the theory of design, he publishes texts, and as a guest he lectures at both domestic and foreign schools (Rietveld Academy Amsterdam, University of California Berkeley, RCA London, Yale University, ENSAD Paris, Pratt Institut New York, SCIARCH Los Angeles). He has created a lot of interiors of prestigious buildings (interiors for president Václav Havel at Prague Castle, Czech Embassies in Rome and Pretoria, Czech House in Malmö, etc.). In 2006 he won the National Design Award, the Form award in Germany, and in 2007 the Design Plus award in Germany and the Czech Grand Design award for the designer of the year. His work is represented in the collections of the several Czech and foreign galleries.

Pavel Srb

After secondary school study of toys design he graduated at the Academy of Applied Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. During his studies he came up with the Kubik design, which was added into the production program of mminterier. He works as a graphic and product designer (multimedia stands for Nokia), he also focus on the design of the vessels, he participated in the interior reconstruction of the Nepomuk cruiser, the Hermes ship project, and a cargo ship conversion to the Cargo Gallery. His designs were presented in both domestic and foreign exhibitions.
